No further insulation is required

With WICU copper tubes and their pre-assembled coating and heat insulation any further insulation is superfluous, significantly reducing the expense of installation. Dependent on the application the tubes are protected against corrosion or sound. And at the same time they automatically fulfil the requirements for heat insulation.

Slim and economic

Used as heating or hot water conduits WICUExtra tubes require considerably less space than tubes with commercial insulation (saving up to 30 mm at a total outside diameter of 18 x 1mm) - an important advantage especially for flush mountings and installation in wall grooves and chases. Needless to say, the tubes meet all legal requirements - such as the energy saving directive. Using WICU tubes helps processors to actively pass on energy-saving costs to their customers.

Easy installation

Plumbers can use the tubes in their usual way and without the need for expensive special tools because the WICU tubes are compatible with the commercially available fittings made of copper alloys, irrespective of the manufacturer.
